PROJEKT BESKRIVELSE

Introduktion

The Watchdog project website is a helping hand for posted workers. The idea is to ensure an easy access and overview to the posted workers directive and posted workers’ rights. Here you can find, legislations and information on where to go for help. We hope the platform will ensure greater cooperation between the social partners, labour inspections and European agencies. As well as to increase the accessibility, transparency and quality of the information concerning the terms and conditions of employment.
We want employment conditions to be respected.
We want to protect workers’ rights in the European Union.

The purpose of the Watchdog project and the online platform is to establish active mechanisms for control and monitoring of the posted workers’ rights across the EU via cooperation, exchange of knowledge and evidence-based approach of social partners, national labour inspections and European agencies.

The hope is that the platform will ensure greater cooperation between the social partners, labour inspections and European agencies. Said differently, transnational cooperation among public authorities and stakeholders. Additionally, we wish to increase the accessibility, transparency and quality of the information concerning the terms and conditions of employment. We want employment conditions to be respected and existing practises in Member States to monitor and enforce the provisions of the Posting of Workers Directive.

Further, the platform gives an easy and accessible overview for posted workers on where to find legislations, where to go for help, news about posted workers, etc.
